Resort Amenities

What's there to do at Hidden Haven Resort?
PLENTY! We offer all kinds of activities for guests of all ages.

The Beach

Whether you want to take a swim in crystal clear Bass Lake or lounge in the sun, our 200’ sand beach is sure to be a hit. Our shoreline slopes very gradually with no sharp drop-offs and is a safe place for kids to chase minnows and build sandcastles. We have a bin full of sand toys for the little ones and water toys for kids and adults alike. Our guests have free use of our canoe, turbopaddlers, pedal boats, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards. We also supply the lifejackets.

Weekly Ice Cream Social

From mid-June to Labor Day, meet us by the beach for our weekly ice cream social. We supply the ice cream and toppings and throw in a few contests and games along the way.

The Playground

Kids will love our play set with swings, slide, and crow’s nest. We also have a volleyball/badminton net and all the equipment you will need for a family challenge match. We have bocce ball, yard Yahtzee, supersized Jenga, bean bag and ladder ball sets for guest use, too. Don’t forget the horseshoe pits!

Campfire Donut Night

During the summer season you can join us Thursday nights for some delicious, homemade cinnamon and sugar donut holes prepared fresh before your eyes. State Fair mini-donuts have nothing on us! The campfire will be going, and you never know, some musician might lead us in some campfire songs!

The Fire Pits

We have five communal fire pits located throughout the resort for guest use and we supply FREE firewood. Bring the s’mores fixings, meet the neighbors in the next cabin and create a memory.

Nature Trails

Just a couple of hundred yards down the road from the resort is a nature trail that winds through the Deer River Municipal Forest. You are sure to see wildlife along the way. We are also very near the Chippewa National Forest which is renowned for its beautiful hiking trails. Free trail maps are available in our office
